Karine Charbonneau has always liked to wear many hats. She studied anthropology and art history at University of Montreal. With a foot in creation and the other in production she participated in various art related projects, and collaborated with artists which she represented and produced.  After many travels, she settled in Madrid (Spain) from 2003 to 2007, expanding her network, touching to every aspects of production, as much as, realizing herself as an artist through different medias such as painting, photography and textiles.  Back in Montreal since 2007 she is now focusing on video and animation.  Karine has recently started her line of clothing and accessories creation under the name Zakarine.
